Ways To Order
All of the orders that are placed on our website are safe and secure. We iclude a 256-bit ssl certificate to secure your personal information. We will never pass on any of your personal information to third party.
We offer several ways to order:
- Online – Place an order on our website, Amazon or eBay stores. If you have any questions about placing an order online feel free to contact us before you place your order and we will be able to assist you. All online orders include email receipts and tracking when the order is shipped.
- Phone – Call 417-717-4316 to place your order or ask any questions you have before placing your order. Phone orders will only be placed through the website, if you wish to purchase on eBay or Amazon unfortunately we are unable to process orders over the phone. After placing you order you will receive an email receipt confirming your purchase.
- Mail – Mail orders are possible by sending a clipping from one of our magazine ads in with a check to the amount required. This order method does take 3 business days to process and will require processing the check before the order is shipped. Please include all necessary information to contact you.
We collect sales tax for orders that are shipped to Missouri addresses, or have a billing address in Missouri. We abide by all state tax laws, and are required to report sales in the state of Missouri. We stay updated with online and state tax laws regularly, and will update our terms if this was ever to change. For now all other states are exempt for tax collection.
We accept all major credit cards as well as Amazon and PayPal payments. If there is a method that you use regularly and would like to see us add, let us know.
- Credit Card – We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and many others. All phone orders are placed using credit cards, so be sure and have one ready if you want to call in your order.
- Amazon Payments – This method is available on the checkout page. If you decide to use this method, all you need to do is login to your Amazon account and all your shipping and payment information that is stored on Amazon will be available for you to use. This is a great way to pay – simple and easy.
- PayPal – PayPal offers a couple different options to pay. For example you can login to your paypal account and send part of your balance to us, use a credit card through paypal processing, or use the Bill Me Later® option. All three methods are available if you choose the PayPal option when you checkout.
- Money Order – This method is available if you do not wish to use any other method above. We can accept a money order made out to: “Speed Dealer Customs Inc.”, this method does take an additional 3 business days to process. With your money order you should include all information needed to ship the order, including phone number and email address. This option is not available except on request, please call us for details.
After ordering you will receive a few emails. The first will confirm that your order was successful, and that we are now processing it. This will usually be around 12-24 hours, although sometimes it may take longer. After this you will receive an email about the shipping details of the order. This will include a link to your real-time tracking information, as well as a ship date and detailed order information.
If you do not receive an email there could be a couple common reasons: first, this could be that it is simply marked as junk mail and you will want to mark us as a safe sender to see all the content. If this isn’t the case your mail server could have filtered out the email, this happens with some corporate businesses and military email accounts. If it is not either of these common issues, then please call 417-717-4316 and we will find out what the issue is.
Speed Dealer Account
Setting up a user account is recommended to check your order status, as well as track your order on our website. It is very simple to setup an account, just check the box that asks if you want to setup an account on the checkout page. Then put you choose a password – it’s that simple. When you setup an account it allows you to see what we see, and any updates that we have to your order will be visible. When checking out as a guest you will not be able to check your order status, except through our system emails.
Shipping Is Free
We use the United States Postal Service as our number one choice. All orders delivered to the 50 states (yes we include HI and AK), all APO/FPO, and US territories including but not limited to Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa and Northern Mariana Islands. We include tracking and delivery confirmation for all order shipped to these destinations. The free shipping option must be chosen upon checkout in order to receive free shipping, all other rates and services are subject to change based on availability.
All international customers are responsible for shipping, customs fees, taxes or additional delivery charges if required by destination country. Speed Dealer Customs will not be responsible for these charges and it is the sole responsibility of all international customers to be aware of the added costs involved for international shipments.
We offer USPS 1st Class as the primary option. This option, although the most economical, can sometimes take 2 months to deliver. The window for this service is 14-45 days, but it has been known to be delivered before and after that window. If you want more of a guarantee on your shipping please choose the priority mail option. Although it is normally double the price, you will receive tracking updates all the way and it is usually delivered in less than 2 weeks depending on location. If you need other services besides these, please contact us and we would be happy to assist in the service you wish. We offer either FedEx or UPS as well, please note that using these services may incur additional delivery charges that you are responsible for.
Changes and Cancellation
All orders are processed within 24 hours, all changes to our order needs to take place before receiving the tracking information email. If you require a change to your order to take place after you have received a tracking email, this will most likely result in a delay receiving your items. Please include all information in the “notes” section on the checkout page to ensure we get the changes.
Pre-Shipping cancellation can happen only before the order has been received by the shipping carrier. If there has been any update to your tracking information then cancellation will be considered a return. Pre-shipping cancellation is free of charge, and there is no restocking fee for this type of cancellation.
Returns and Exchanges
After an order has tracking information and is received by the shipping carrier order changes and cancellations are not possible, however, we do offer a very reasonable exchange and return policy. All return and exchange shipping is paid for by the customer, except in the case that we shipped the wrong item or the item was faulty. Returned items have a 15% restocking fee applied on top of your return shipping fees. Special order/Custom items which include Ohlins, GPR Stabilizer, Vance and Hines and Motogadget may be assessed a restock fee of up to 50%, please verify with us that these products are indeed what you need for your particular set-up!
Exchanges, unless we are at fault, follow the same 15% restocking fee if item can not be re-sold or is damaged in return shipping(Please take care to pack well) , and shipping costs for the new item will also be needed. This is usually received through a PayPal invoice, or any other of our payment methods. Payment is required before the exchanged item is shipped.
For International Returns, it will be the responsibility of the customer to pay for return shipping. Shipping charges will be reimbursed only if there was a mistake on our side either wrong part sent or faulty part, all other returns or exchanges are done at the customers cost. We are simply not able to offer an international return label for our customers, this is why the initial return shipping is at the customers cost.
